Who we are

HunterLex is a legal recruiting firm based in Florida. We place attorneys and support staff with law firms across the United States.

What this site is for

This site describes what we do, publishes articles about hiring in the legal industry, and gives you a way to get in touch. That is its purpose.

This site is not a job board and it is not an application portal. Sending us a message does not create a recruiting relationship, an employment relationship, or any obligation on either side.

We are recruiters, not lawyers

We write about hiring, employment trends, and the legal job market. It is general commentary and nothing on this site is legal advice. If you need advice on an employment contract, a non-compete, a hiring decision, or anything else with legal consequences, talk to an attorney about your own situation.

What we ask of you

Use the site the way it is meant to be used. Do not:

  • Send anyone else's personal information without their permission
  • Submit false or misleading information about yourself or a role
  • Scrape, copy, or republish our articles without asking us first
  • Use the contact form for spam, bulk marketing, or anything unlawful
  • Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site

We can decline to work with anyone, and we can block access to the site, without having to explain why.

Content on this site

The articles, text, and design here belong to HunterLex. You are welcome to read them, share a link, and quote a short passage with credit. Republishing a whole article, or using our material commercially, needs our written permission first.

No promises about outcomes

We work hard on every search. What we cannot do is promise a result. Hiring depends on candidates, on firms, and on timing. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a role will be filled, that a candidate will be placed, or that any particular outcome will follow.

Any specific commitment we make to you will be in a signed agreement between us, not on a web page.

Accuracy

We try to keep the site current and correct. Articles reflect the market at the time they were written, and the legal hiring market moves. We are not liable for a decision made purely on the strength of something you read here.

Links to other sites

We sometimes link out to other websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, HunterLex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. This does not limit anything that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute about them belongs in the courts of Florida.
